Hey there! Melissa here for today’s Sizzix Inspiration with a quick project for all you bakers out there. I've been known to collect one too many measuring spoons in my day, so I figured it was about time to pull some of them out of the prop drawer and add them to some small gift bags as party favors!
I started by making the treat bags using the Sizzix Movers & Shapers Sweet Treat Bag Die. To create the sandwich, I layered a Standard Cutting Pad, the Sizzix Movers & Shapers Sweet Treat Bag Die, the paper, and then the Standard Premium Crease Pad on top. I repeated this once more to create the back panel for the box.
Once the bag was assembled & filled, I then used the Sizzix On the Edge Mini Scallop & Pinking die to create the orange borders. To create this sandwich, I layered an Standard Cutting Pad, the Sizzix On the Edge Mini Scallop & Pinking Die, the orange paper, and then another Standard Cutting Pad on top. I used crafter's tape to attach each border to the front of the bag and then trimmed off the excess. To finish off, I punched a hole through the top and then attached a measuring spoon with orange ribbon. Fill with cookies, candies, sprinkles, or whatever treats your heart desires for a easy treat bag idea geared for the bakers in your life.
