I just had to make a girly purse for my daughter, and I decided to bling it up for her since she is definitely a girly girl. The Purse die is a Bigz die, so the Sizzix sandwich was simply a Sizzix Extended Cutting Pad, the purse die (facing up), my paper, and the Extended Premium Crease Pad. I rolled it all through my Sizzix Big Shot, and then assembled the pieces. I love that the directions to assemble the purse are all inside the packaging!
Once the basic purse was assembled, it was time to add some bling! I used a small white silk flower that had fallen off my spring branches arrangement in my house, and glued a Swarovski crystal to the middle of it. The crystal is so bright and shiny and adds so much shine and glamour to the bag!
Next I took some silver sequins on a roll that I have, and glued a strand to the bottom of the purse, as well as to the top of the little pocket on the purse.
I love the way it all turned out, and my daughter is really excited about her new sparkly purse. This die is great because it is so versatile. You can use it to make a play purse, a gift bag, party favors, and so much more.
How will you use this cute purse die?
