Hi friends! Genevive here for today's Sizzix Inspiration and I'm back with the cutest thing ever and I can't wait to show you!
Using Eileen Hull's 3D Oven Sizzix ScoreBoards XL Die and Kitchen Labels Sizzix Framelits Die set from her Vintage Kitchen collection, I made this miniature oven that can be used in many different ways. It can be a gift box, a party favor, a girl's toy and room decor and it can even used as an appliance for a doll house! *this is the part when I would wish I had a baby girl lol*
To make the oven, I die cut a piece of chipboard with the the Sizzix "sandwich" in this order: Cutting Pad + 3D Oven Die facing up + chipboard + Cutting Pad. I then rolled the sandwich through the Sizzix Big Shot machine, folded the scored lines and attached the flaps to make this mini oven.
I painted it with white heavy gesso (because I just love white kitchens and almost everything in my kitchen is white) and used glitter cardstock for the oven window. The black buttons look perfect as stove plates. The pitcher is from the Kitchen Labels Sizzix Framelits Die set. When cutting Framelits, the Sizzix Sandwich is Magnetic Platform +Cutting Pad + paper + Framelits + Cutting Pad.
This mini oven opens like a drawer and I thought it would be nice to put a little surprise inside and give this as a gift to someone who really loves baking!
Like something small but can certainly make someone smile :)
That's about it for today. I hope you enjoyed my post as much as I enjoyed the process of preparing everything for you :) Talk to you soon!
