Christmas Card: Be The Star of Holiday Card Giving

Christmas Card: Be The Star of Holiday Card Giving

Hi all! Tami Mayberry from Create It Simply here with you to share another quick and easy card that you can make in minutes. One of my very favorite dies shapes to work with is a star shape. Stars work well for so many designs-congratulations, baby, July 4th, Christmas... the list goes on. This Stars #4 design is no exception! Today, I used it for a Christmas card perfect for mass production.

To begin, form a 5 1/2 x 4 1/4-inch card from Whisper White cardstock; round corners as shown. Using Early Espresso ink, stamp sentiment from Reason for the Season stamp set onto card front.

Die-cut Stars #4 shape from yellow stripe patterned paper using your Sizzix Big Shot machine and a sandwich of a Standard Cutting Pad, followed by the die (cutting side up), patterned paper and the second Cutting Pad.

Using a brown marker, add a hand-drawn border to die-cut star.
