Piecing the Project:

  1. Place a red Daisy onto a white 5" Square. Heat fuse in place with an iron and stitch around as desired. Repeat to form three more Daisy blocks.
  2. Sew all four Daisy blocks together to form the center of the pillow.
  3. Sew the blue 1 1/2" x 9 1/2" Strips onto each side of the center block. Then sew the blue 1 1/2" x 11 1/2" Strips onto the top and bottom of the center block.
  4. Sew the green 3 1/2" x 11 1/2" Strips onto each side of the center block. Then sew the green 3 1/2" x 17 1/2" Strips onto the top and bottom of the center block.

Finishing:

  1. For the pillow back, on each of the 11" lengths, fold under 1/4", press, then fold again 1" and press to finish the raw edges. Stitch in place to secure.
  2. Place pillow top and pillow backing pieces right sides together, matching the outside edges. The finished edges will overlap in the middle.
  3. Using a walking foot, sew along the outside perimeter using a 1/2" seam allowance.
  4. Clip excess fabric in the corners on the diagonal. Turn inside-out and insert the pillow form.
