Love Heart Balloons Card

  1. Cut a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of red cardstock. Fold it in half to create a card base.
  2. Cut a 3 3/4" x 5" piece of kraft cardstock. Adhere the kraft cardstock to the card front with double-sided tape.
  3. Cut a 3 1/2" x 4 1/4" piece of white cardstock. Edge the white cardstock with a gold paint pen. Adhere the white cardstock to the card front with double-sided tape.
  4. Cut a 3" x 4" piece of Collage cardstock. Emboss the Collage cardstock with the Valentine embossing folder. Using the Mini Ink Blending Tool, add Distress Ink (Vintage Photo) to the emboss areas. Adhere the embossed cardstock to the card front with double-sided tape.
  5. Die-cut three hearts out of fuchsia, light pink and red cardstock and one heart out of polka-dot patterned paper. Edge the four hearts with a gold paint pen and set aside to dry.
  6. Die-cut twice the word Love out of gold and red cardstock. Layer the red word on top of the gold word with liquid adhesive. Adhere the layered word to the card front with liquid adhesive.
  7. Die-cut a small heart out of red cardstock. Set aside the small heart for the envelope.
  8. Die-cut the envelope out of vellum. Fold the envelope along the crease lines, and add sequins to the envelope. Adhere the small red heart to the center of the envelope with liquid adhesive.
  9. Cut three 2 1/2" pieces of twine. Adhere the twine down the center of the card front with liquid adhesive.
  10. Adhere the gold-edged hearts on top of the twine with adhesive foam tape to look like balloon hearts.
  11. Adhere the vellum envelope on top of the gathered twine with liquid adhesive.
