  1. Cut a 4 1/2" x 6 1/2" piece of black cardstock.
  2. Cut a 4" x 6" piece of patterned paper. With an ink blending tool, add gray ink to the edges of the patterned paper to create dimension. Center and adhere the patterned paper to the top of the black cardstock with double-sided tape.
  3. Die-cut the flamingo from the Card, Flamingo Fold-a-Long set out of black cardstock, and trim the excess paper away from the flamingo shape.
  4. Die-cut out of patterned paper the flamingo legs from the Card, Flamingo Fold-a-Long set. Adhere the patterned legs to the legs on the black flamingo with liquid adhesive. Die-cut out of white glitter cardstock the flamingo wing and beak. Adhere the wing to the center of the black flamingo and the beak to the beak on the black flamingo with liquid adhesive. Die-cut the tip of the beak out of black cardstock and an eye out of white cardstock. Adhere the tip of the beak to the end of the white glitter beak and the eye directly above the white glitter beak with liquid adhesive.
  5. Die-cut out of green cardstock two single palm leaves from the Card, Flamingo Fold-a-Long set. Die-cut one double palm leaf out of black cardstock and one out of green cardstock. Layer the palm leaves along the bottom of the black flamingo’s legs as desired, and adhere the leaves to the flamingo with liquid adhesive. Set the flamingo aside.
  6. Die-cut out of black cardstock the small flamingo from the Phrases, Thank You & Flamingo set.
  7. Die-cut out of patterned paper the small flamingo legs from the Phrases, Thank You & Flamingo set. Adhere the small patterned legs to the small black flamingo legs with liquid adhesive. Die-cut out of white glitter cardstock the small flamingo wing and beak. Adhere the wing to the center of the small black flamingo and the beak to the beak on the small black flamingo with liquid adhesive. Die-cut the tip of the beak out of black cardstock and an eye out of white cardstock. Adhere the tip of the beak to the end of the small white glitter beak and the eye directly above the small white glitter beak with liquid adhesive.
  8. Cut by hand two bow ties out of white glitter cardstock, one small bow tie to fit the small black flamingo and one larger bow tie to fit the large black flamingo. Adhere the bow ties to the necks of the flamingos with liquid adhesive.
  9. On a computer, type and print out the shower information on white cardstock. Die-cut the printout using the oval from the Card, Flamingo Fold-a-Long set. For ease of use, we recommend using the Magnetic Platform to hold the Thinlits die in place while you die-cut the shower information printout. With an ink blending tool, add gray ink to the edge of the oval. Adhere the oval to the upper middle right side of the invitation base.
  10. Adhere the large black flamingo directly to the left of the oval with liquid adhesive, allowing small pieces of the flamingo to overlap the oval.
  11. Attach an adhesive foam dot to the back of the small black flamingo. Place a small dab of hot glue to the back of the foam dot, and adhere the small flamingo to the bottom right side of the large black flamingo so that they slightly overlap one another.
