Other Supplies:

  • Cardstock (Blue, Brown, Red)
  • Patterned Paper (Two Patterns)
  • Adhesive Foam Dots
  • Baker’s Twine (Blue and White Combo)
  • Double-Sided Tape or Tape Runner
  • Paper Trimmer
  • Ranger Distress Ink (Vintage Photo) by Tim Holtz
  • Ranger Mini Ink Blending Tool

  1. Cut an 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" piece of blue cardstock. Fold the blue cardstock in half to create a card base.
  2. Cut a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of patterned paper. Using the Mini Ink Blending Tool, add Distress Ink (Vintage Photo) to the edges, and adhere the inked patterned paper to the card front with double-sided tape.
  3. Die-cut out of blue cardstock the 3 1/4" x 4 1/2" postage stamp shape from the Stacked Postage set. Using the Mini Ink Blending Tool, add Distress Ink (Vintage Photo) along the edges of the postage stamp, and adhere it on top of the card front with double-sided tape.
  4. Die-cut out of patterned paper the 4" x 2 3/4" postage stamp shape from the Stacked Postage set. Using the Mini Ink Blending Tool, add Distress Ink (Vintage Photo) along the edges.
  5. Die-cut out of red cardstock the 3 1/4" x 2 1/4" postage stamp shape from the Stacked Postage set. Using the Mini Ink Blending Tool, add Distress Ink (Vintage Photo) along the edges.
  6. Take the red postage stamp shape, and place it on top the plus signs die from the Mixed Media #6 set. Die-cut the plus signs out of the red postage stamp.
  7. Die-cut out of brown cardstock the word Travel from the Shadow Script #3 set, and adhere the brown word to the bottom of the red postage stamp with liquid adhesive.
  8. Adhere the red postage stamp with double-sided tape to the top of the patterned paper postage stamp at a slight angle. Tie baker’s twine around the layered red and patterned postage stamps, and tie the twine into a bow. Adhere the layered and tied postage stamps with adhesive foam dots at a slight angle on top of the blue postage stamp on the card front.
