Other Supplies:

  • Cardstock (White)
  • Patterned Paper (Gold Metallic)
  • Acrylic Stamp Block
  • Embossing Powder (Gold, White)
  • Glitter Marker (Clear)
  • Gold Paint Pen
  • Heat Tool
  • Hook-and-Loop Fastener
  • Ink Pads (Black Permanent, Clear Embossing)
  • Liquid Adhesive
  • Paper Trimmer
  • Scissors
  • Trim (Green Leaf)
  • Water Brush
  • Watercolor Crayon (White)
  • Watercolor Palette

  1. Fold an A2 Kraft Envelope in half. Using clear embossing ink, stamp the floral frame from the You’ve Got Mail set on the right half of the folded envelope. Dust the image with white embossing powder, and shake off the excess. Use a heat tool to set the image.
  2. Using a water brush and a white watercolor crayon, color the floral frame image. Let it dry completely, and then paint the floral frame image again with the water brush and a watercolor palette. Using a gold paint pen, add a gold line between the two frame lines of the floral frame image.
  3. Die-cut out of gold patterned paper an A2 liner from the Envelope Liners, A2 & A7 set. Cut the liner in half with a paper trimmer. Edge the right half of the liner with a gold paint pen, and discard the left side of the liner.
  4. Adhere the gold-edged liner to the inside right fold of the A2 Kraft Envelope. Cut the flap of the A2 Kraft Envelope in half with scissors. Adhere the left side of the flap to the A2 Kraft Envelope with liquid adhesive. Edge with a gold paint pen the inside right edges of the A2 Kraft Envelope.
  5. Cut a 2 1/2" x 4 1/2" piece of gold patterned paper, and edge it with a gold paint pen. Adhere with liquid adhesive the piece of gold patterned paper to the inside left fold of the A2 Kraft Envelope (over the flap that has been glued down).
  6. Using clear embossing ink, stamp the return address image from the You’ve Got Mail set in the center of the gold patterned paper on the inside left fold of the envelope. Stamp the return address image again onto white cardstock. Dust both stamped images with gold embossing powder, and shake off the excess. Use a heat tool to set the images. Trim with scissors around the return address image on the white cardstock. Adhere with liquid adhesive the white embossed return address over the embossed return address on the gold patterned paper. (The embossed flourish on the gold patterned paper should show above and below the white embossed return address.)
  7. Using black permanent ink, stamp the floral Postage Stamp, the Happy Mail phrase (twice) and the Sent with Love seal from the Postage Stamps set onto white cardstock. Color the floral Postage Stamp with a water brush and watercolor palette. Color the Sent with Love seal with a gold paint pen. Align the corresponding Framelits dies (rectangle, ticket and circle) from the Postage Stamps set over the stamped images and die-cut. For ease of use, we recommend using the Magnetic Platform to hold the Framelits dies in place while the images are being cut. Die-cut the postage shape from Postage Stamps set out of white cardstock, and edge it with a gold paint pen. Adhere the floral Postage Stamp to the gold-edged white postage shape with liquid adhesive.
  8. Adhere the Made with Love seal and the layered floral Postage Stamp to the gold patterned paper on the inside left fold of the A2 Kraft Envelope as desired.
  9. Edge the Happy Mail tickets with a gold paint pen. Adhere the tickets back to back overhanging the A2 Kraft Envelope flap.
  10. Cut a 9 1/2" length of green leaf trim. Punch two 1" Circles out of white cardstock. Adhere with liquid adhesive the two Circles together with one end of the green leaf trim sandwiched between the two Circles.
  11. From the Wax Seal set, attach to an acrylic block the Wax Seal stamp with the small heart stamp inside it. Using clear embossing ink, stamp the images onto white cardstock. Dust the images with gold embossing powder, and shake off the excess. Use a heat tool to set the image.
  12. Align the corresponding Framelits die from the Wax Seal set over the stamped image and die-cut. For ease of use, we recommend using the Magnetic Platform to hold the Framelits die in place while the image is being cut. Die-cut out of white cardstock the Wax Seal shape a second time.
  13. Color the embossed Wax Seal with a clear glitter pen, water brush and watercolor palette.
  14. With liquid adhesive, adhere back to back the second Wax Seal die-cut to the embossed Wax Seal with the other end of the green leaf trim sandwiched between the two Wax Seals.
  15. Attach a hook-and-loop fastener to the backs of the Wax Seal and Circle on each end of the green leaf trim. Wrap the trim around the envelope. Attach the hook-and-loop fastener on the Wax Seal and Circle together to create a closure.
