Christmas Banner DIY: Deck Your Walls With Crafting Cuteness

15Christmas Banner DIY: Deck Your Walls With Crafting Cuteness

Hello crafty pals! Genevive here at your service!  I love patterned papers and it has been my habit to keep the leftover pieces  when I create my paper crafts, and I have organized them according to themes. So my collection of Christmas themed papers have gotten fat over the years. And what better way to use up paper is to make banners!

So the process always starts by choosing the perfect die and in this case, I chose the Sizzix Framelits Die Set - Bubbly by Stephanie Barnard. I picked the 3 biggest dies from the pack of 8 to cut red, white and a patterned die-cuts.

When cutting framelits dies, the Sizzix sandwich should be in this order: Sizzix Magnetic Platform + Sizzix standard Cutting Pad + paper + framelits dies facing down + Cutting Pad. Roll the said sandwich through the machine. Repeat until you have enough die-cuts for the banners.

I layered the pieces together and added the coordinating buttons.

Then, punched two holes on each piece of the banner and stringed it together and the banner is done!

It now gives color and Christmas feel to our used-to-be bare walls.
