Merry Christmas! Michelle here from Michelle's Party Plan-It and I'm excited to be sharing one last Christmas themed Sizzix project with you today using the latest Lori Whitlock dies!
My niece is a teenager and loves to shop, so I crafted a mini Owl Gift Bag for the Gift Card I bought her. She also loves owls and I love plaid so this little bag is the perfect woodland combination!
For this project I used my Sizzix Big Shot, Cutting Pads, Premium Crease Pad, Multipurpose Platform, Favor Bag Bigz Die, Arrows, Frames & Notebook Paper Thinlits Set and the Fox & Owl Sentiments Framelits Set. I also used glue, cardstock and 3D adhesive foam squares.
Starting with the Bag, I created a sandwich. The sandwich for this die is, a cutting pad, Favor Bag die, cardstock (faced down) and then the premium crease pad on top. Then, I passed it through the Big Shot. I repeated this process to create two panels. Then following the instructions, I assembled the bag with glue.
I then created a sandwich using the Multipurpose Platform by placing a cutting pad on tab 2, my paper then the Framelits and Thinlits. I then passed it through the Big Shot. I die cut two owls.
Next, I layered the panels and Owl with 3D foam adhesive squares and glue.
Lastly, I attached the "Love" die cut with a gold mini clothespin and added my Nieces gift card with coordinating plaid tissue paper.
And that's it! A sweet on trend mini woodland Christmas gift bag! What do you think? I'd love to hear from you!
Thank you for stopping by and I wish you very Merry Christmas!
