Hello everyone! Melissa Phillips with a little Sizzix Inspiration showing how you can use your Sizzix dies to dress up a burlap bag just as quick as can be.
Grab your favorite supplies and we'll get started.
I used glittered sheet music paper and the Sizzix Thinlits dies Heavenly by Prima and created beautiful die cut wings to layer behind my dimensional flower. Once they were adhered near the top of the bag, I added a paper rosette made using Medallions Sizzix Sizzlits Decorative Strip Die by Brenda Walton.
Then came a lovely, shabby, layered flower created with vintage trim and my Sizzix Thinlits Estelle dies designed by Prima. I secured my paper rosette on the back with a circle of paper, leaving a hole on the front and center of my rosette, providing the perfect spot for me to tuck in the centers of my die cut flowers, allowing them to bunch up and layer beautifully.
To finish, I added trim around the bottom of my burlap bag and in just a few minutes I had a sweet package to share with someone dear.
Thanks for stopping by!
