Gift Tag DIY: The Handmade Touch Your Presents Need

Gift Tag DIY: The Handmade Touch Your Presents NeedHello! Tami Mayberry from Create It Simply here with you today to share another quick and easy project to help with your holiday preparations. If you are anything like me you have stacks of cards and tags that you have been given over the years and sometimes you don't remember to note when you received them. With this fun tag design your recipient will easily remember, because it's right there on the tag! These super simple card tags could also work as keepsakes to place in your Project Life albums or even one your tree.Gift Tag DIY: The Handmade Touch Your Presents NeedTo quickly create this tag I used my Big Shot Plus die-cutting machine along with some great new dies from Stephanie Ackerman--the Card TagThree Trees and Fresh Blossoms Numbers. By using the larger platform of the Big Shot Plus I was able to cut both the Card Tag and Three Trees elements at the same time. The Big Shot Plus uses the same sandwich as the Big Shot: a Standard Cutting Pad, followed by the dies (cutting side up), desired papers and the second Cutting Pad (not shown).Gift Tag DIY: The Handmade Touch Your Presents NeedNext, simply sponge the edge of the die-cut card tag with coordinating ink and adhere tree pieces to the front.Gift Tag DIY: The Handmade Touch Your Presents NeedAdd a little pen-stitching for a whimsical look.Gift Tag DIY: The Handmade Touch Your Presents NeedUsing the Big Shot Plus with a sandwich of the Magnetic Platform, a Standard Cutting Pad,  brown cardstock, Fresh Blossoms Numbers dies (cutting side down), and, finally, the second Standard Cutting Pad, die-cut the date and adhere to the tag.

Now write your note inside and there you have it--quick, easy and custom!
