Hi everyone, it’s Jess from Everyday Party Magazine. Today I am sharing a fun Beach, Pool, Lake Arrow Sign. They took me less than 20 minutes to make, and they add such a fun summer feel to my entryway.
Begin by cutting your arrows. I made 3, one for the Lake, the Pool, and the Beach. I used white chip board and painted it a bright yellow. I cut it using the Sizzix Sandwich method, cutting pad, die, paper, cutting pad, and rolled it through the Big Shot Plus Machine. Then, I cut my letters and numbers using the same method. I was able to use scrap paper for this.
Next, I spray painted the chipboard with a light coat of yellow paint. While the paint dried, I ran my letters through the Xryon Sticker Maker. When I finished all the letters, the paint was dry, and I simply stuck the letters on the arrows.
Now, I was ready to staple the arrows to a piece of scrap wood. I used a little spray paint into a cup and a paint brush to paint the staples to match. (This step is totally optional.)
Finally, I stuck it in my palm planter by the front door. It’s a great way to add a little summer whimsy to the outside for little to no money!
I hope I have inspired you to create a cute summer sign!
