Hi everyone, Audrey here, with a fun holiday gift tag idea for you today featuring the new Mini Envelope & Tag Die from the Where Women Cook collection for Sizzix. You all are going to love how quick and easy these are, and how downright adorable. Just what we all need at this busy time of year!
The new Mini Envelope & Tag die is just as cute as can be, and so easy to put together. I die cut and assembled a whole handful of tags and envelopes in mere minutes. Perfect project for creating gift tags for all my holiday packages, as well as creating extras for gifts. Simply die cut, fold along the crease lines, and secure the flaps with a bit of adhesive. Done!
The tags were die cut from ledger paper and embellished with a sweet snowman and sparkly snowflake, both from the Sizzix/Hero Arts Framelits Snowman Stamp & Die set. I stamped the small snowflake directly onto the tag using light blue ink. A dot of crystal Stickles in the center adds sparkle and shine. The snowmen were stamped onto white cardstock in black ink and then die cut with the matching snowman die. The new Sizzix Magnetic Platform makes lining up dies over stamped images sooo easy, with no fear of slippage.
I colored my snowmen with Copic Markers and pencil before adhering them to the tags. Then just add a bit of hemp or trim through the designated hole in the envelope, and you are done!
