Spring is almost here and I'm looking forward to all the Spring Baby Showers! I'm getting a head start on the party crafting with the latest party themed dies by Where Women Cook. So many fun designs that you can incorporate into almost any theme!
I have a thing for cupcakes and cupcake liners so when I saw the new Cupcake Wrappers Thinlits set, I knew I had to have it. Paired with the new Geometric Paper Pads, the possibilities are endless. Let's get started!
Using the Sizzix Big Shot Plus, Big Shot Plus Platform, Big Shot Plus Adapter A and two Cutting Pads, intricate die cuts are a cinch. Start by making a sandwich: Platform, Adapter A, cutting pad, paper, wrapper and crown Thinlits and a second cutting pad. Next, pass it through the Big Shot Plus.
And in a matter of seconds, you have a perfectly cut cupcake wrapper and coordinating crown!
Next, assemble the crown and wrapper by placing the tab in the notch, it's really that easy! I love how the Geometric Paper Pads are packed with high quality two-sided paper, perfect for mixing and matching crowns and wrappers.
Simply, place your delicious cupcakes in the center of the wrapper and top with a crown. (Checkout my recipe for EASY Pina Colada Cupcakes on my blog.) How perfect would these be for a little girl's baby shower or first birthday? Use blue paper instead and you have cupcakes fit for a prince!
