Quick and Easy Monogrammed Card

Hey everyone, it's Hilary today to show you a very sweet, quick and easy to make monogrammed card.  I used the new "Labels" die from Jen Long-Phillipsen along with the Moraccan Chipboard alphabet from Dena Designs.  I hope you enjoy it.

I started this card by first scoring and folding white cardstock that measures 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  Then using pattern papers, I cut them slightly smaller and layered them together, inserting a scalloped edge piece of white cardstock in between.  I then wrapped wide green twill ribbon around the card and machine stitched it in place.  Then using your Labels die, I die cut the label for the background, then added a metal frame securing it with brads on top.  I adhered the label to my card using some 3 D glue dots.  I then put a 3 D glue dot on the underside of the "P" monogram and adhered it to the middle.  ("P" is for Princess or Penelope). To finish I adhered a rub-on at the bottom and with hot glue, adhered some ric rac for the trim at the bottom.   Finally, adhere the card front to your folded card using 3 D glue dots.

Though it may appear this card took a while to finish, it actually only took minutes...It's a card I'm sure your little "Princess" or "Penelope" would love to receive.

Thank you all so much for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed my project.
