Good Morning!! Tami Mayberry here with you for today's Sizzix Inspiration today. As some of you already know, I recently became a grandma. So, I totally have baby projects on my mind...especially baby girl projects! If you've ever been around a baby you probably know how hard it is to get those little ones to sleep. So, for today's inspiration project, I have a fun banner that I made to let everyone know it's time to walk softly and whisper because baby is sleeping.
For the base, I die-cut the Sizzix Bigz L Big Banner by Lori Whitlockshape from kraft cardstock. To do this I began with the a Standard Cutting Pad, followed by the Bigz Big Banner die (cutting side up), cardstock and the second Cutting Pad and ran it through the Sizzix Big Shot Machine. I then embellished it using patterned paper, ribbon and pearls.
For the flower, I die-cut two Bigz Big Flower shapes bright pink cardstock in the same manner as the Big Banner. I then cut a slit along the center of each petal; curled the sides and layered them together using adhesive foam squares.
The onsie was created by using the onsie die from the Thinlits Baby Dresser Card die set. When using Thinlits dies such as this, begin with your Sizzix Big Shot machine and sandwich of the Magnetic Platform, a Standard Cutting Pad, cardstock, the desired Thinlits die, and, finally, the second Cutting Pad.
Die-cut the word "SLEEPING" in the same manner as the onesie using Thinlits 3/4" Tall Alphanumeric dies.
