Hello there! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. I hosted three Christmas parties this year and naturally, each party will have a theme. And with Sizzix tools and dies, hosting and taking care of the details is a no-brainer :)
One of the parties was among my ex-colleagues at Made With Love and we wanted to do a "tea party" with a twist. Instead of the usual pretty-and-pink details, we wanted it to be a very merry Christmas kinda tea party. So I pulled out my Big Shot, Tea Bag Box and Accessories & Cake Pop Box from the Where Women Cook line and started working to bring you today's Sizzix Inspiration.
I cut the all the shapes, creased and attached the flaps to make the teabag box and accessories (with both dies, the "sandwich" was composed of: Cutting Pad + die + Crease Pad). My faves were the very tiny gold teaspoons and cups that replaced the teabag handles. Matched by a gold bird trying to look into the cup =) So cute!
These are supposed to be cake pop boxes, but I didn't have enough time to make cake pops so I covered the hole (that's supposed to be the window for you to see the cakes) with vellum and decided to make it a party favor box slash surprise game props slash Christmas gift from me. I filled each box with my fave things: trinkets, dew drops, gems, pearls and whatnot. In one of the boxes is one tag that says: "The bearer wins one Sizzix Die!" It was fun to see my friends search through the little boxes and find that surprise tag!
That's me on the left with my scrappy friends during the party! Christmas Wishes to you all! :)
