Sizzix Inspiration | Locker Pencil Tags by Leica Forrest

Hello everyone, but especially teachers! This is your daily Sizzix Inspiration.

Leica here and I am sooooo excited for Back to School. Are you excited or what? Have you checked out the Classroom Series dies that Sizzix has to help teachers?????

Today I am showing you cute little pencils that can be used for locker tags. Quick, easy to make and then why not laminate them after for durability?

First, cut out all the supplies you will need in your Big Shot machine with your Pencil Bigz die and paper between a pair of standard cutting pads. I chose mustard yellow for the base which is kind of a standard pencil colour. With white and pink paper I cut off white for the tips and pink for the erasers. I trimmed my paper before using the die to cut it. I made those squares of paper just a little bit larger than the die area that I would be cutting. No sense in cutting full size of white or pink, it's just a waste. BUT, you will need to cut on the perforated line in order to be able to paper piece in the right spots.

I put the silver glitter on first.I wanted the metal part of the pencil to really pop.

Now add the white tip. It will start looking like a pencil.

Add the pink part. You are getting the idea. You can see the concept coming together quite fast!

For the tip, I coloured it black with a marker. It was just easier than cutting teeny tiny black tips.

Now add names of your students!

Thanks for looking!
