Sizzix Tutorial | Coffee For You by Jeanne Streiff

Hello! Jeanne Streiff here today with a coffee themed shaped card using dies and stamps from both Tim Holtz and Stephanie Barnard.

I started out by cutting my cardstock pieces with my Sizzix Big Shot. I used the Sizzix Ranger Distress Cardstock Collection for today's project.

The die cut sandwich for a Bigz die is (from bottom up) one of the Cutting Pads, Bigz die, cardstock and another Cutting Pad.

The yellow (coffee cup lid) was scored before cutting and then cut with the top above the cut line on the Fresh Brewed Bigz die. This will create the top hinge for my card.

Next I used the Framelits w/stamps Tags & Words stamp & die set to create my tags. The Sizzix Stamper's Secret Weapon creates provides the perfect cushion for a nice clean stamped image.

The Thinlits/Framelits die sandwich: Magnetic Platform (or Multipurpose Platform), Cutting Pad, die, cardstock (or other material), Cutting Pad.

The edges were sponged with brown ink and I layered the little heart tag.

Here is a closer look at the hinge I created with the folded lid die cut.

And here is my card completed. Hope you enjoyed my project!
