Hell everyone, Leica here for today's Sizzix Tutorial.
I love fall, the colours, the crisp feel in the air. It is simply wonderful! Why not make a cute tag to celebrate the season?
I absolutely adore the Big Shot Pro. Today I brought it out and was able to cut out stuff for 4 projects at the same time. I just put the Adapter Pad on the Sliding Tray, one Big Shot Cutting pad down, the dies cutting side up with the papers on them and another Big Shot Pro Cutting Pad on top. It is really handy when you are short on time.
Today's project is all about fall. The reality is, when I decorate I don't just cut one or two leaves. I love this new Bigz Die with Texture Fades Layered Leaf. I cut a whole bunch so that I can make lots of projects. So I cut them in quite a few different fall colours.
Here is what the leaves look like with and without inking. It is totally a preference choice.
Then I used the matching leaf embossing folder. That really makes them take on a realistic look.
Want more pizazz? Break out the dark brown ink and using a stylus, just ink the raised areas and edges. This will really show definition.
I first sprayed this tag with Key Lime Pie Glimmer Mist. Let it dry completely. Then I embossed the tag with vertical Sizzix Texture Fades Embossing Folders Chevron & Lattice Set. Then using dark brown ink, lightly run the stylus over the raised parts. I pick and choose certain areas to enhance.
Start decorating and adding finishing touches. I am not sure who will get this tag yet, So I may decorate it a bit more with maybe scrabble letters once I decide. But for right now, I love the simplicity of the tag on the paper bag.
Thanks for looking. :)
