Sizzix Tutorial | Notepad Holder by Jessica Roe

Hi everybody! This is Jessica Roe from Everyday Party Magazine here for today’s Sizzix Tutorial to show you how to make a super cute note pad holder using the Sizzix Bigz L Die Notepad Cover!

For this project I printed digital scrap book paper on card stock to match the note pad I made, chipboard, Sizzix Bigz L Die Notepad Cover, on Standard Cutting Pad, the Premium Crease Pad and the Sizzix Big Shot machine, a glue stick, a note pad (create your own in Adobe, or buy Post-It Notes), washi tape, and a small pencil .

I started by die cutting my notepad holder. I cut 2 printed and one from chipboard.  For your Sizzix sandwich you will layer first your Standard Cutting Pad, note pad die, your patterned card stock (I folded mine in half and cut two cuts at one time), then the Premium Crease Pad on top. I repeated this process for the chipboard and a single medallion in a coordinating color.

I glued my patterned paper on top of the chipboard.  I placed the note pad inside with a pencil I covered in washi tape to match.  I used the medallion as a sticker to seal the note pad cover shut, and I have a simple and affordable teacher appreciation gift!
