Hello everyone! Leica here to show you how to have a little fun on a cold winter day with today's Sizzix Tutorial.
Today was our official first day of winter. Snow, snow and more snow! It was so pretty, fluffy and white. I felt like I was in a snow globe. A perfect time to enjoy a flavourful cup of tea.
I think this new Sizzix Bigz L Die Box, Tea Bag & Accessories is so super cute. So let's get going. I layered my paper in the Big Shot Pro, using the Sliding Tray, Adapter Pad, a Standard Cutting Pad and the Crease Pad.
I ran two different papers through the machine. Wasn't quite sure which one I would use, but wanted choice.
Then I started assembling. I will be truthful, I wasn't very talented with regular adhesive, so I broke out the glue gun so it adhered immediately. Really, it was my saving grace. Quick & easy.
I love that you can put any sort of tea bag in it. I chose to use one of my favourites: Pomegranate Green Tea ~delightful. You will also notice that I inked the edges brown.
For this little tea bag holder, I wanted to decorate it further, By adding lace, it made it a little fancier. I glued the spoon right on, it can be left hanging, but I liked this look.
Add a little Baker's Twine, tie a bow and it looks so cute!
I love the little touches of this set. The birdie is adorable!
This would be such a fun setting for a Ladies Tea. Could you imagine?
Thanks for looking! Now go enjoy a cuppa!
