Hi everyone, Mou here with today's inspiration!
Who doesn't love banners? This Sizzix Bigz Banners die is so versatile! Emboss the die cut banners and they add a whole new dimension to your projects. Add a few folded flowers to the mix using Sizzlits Decorative Strip Die - Flower, Folded for quick and fun and embellishments. Here's a closer look at my page.
Let me tell you the steps to recreate my layout.
Emboss the banner pieces using Textured Impressions Embossing Folders 2PK - Butterfly Lattice Set, Texture Trades Embossing Folders 10PK - Numbers Set, and Textured Impressions Embossing Folders 4PK - Moroccan Set.
Cut out two 6" x 4" pieces from cream cardstock and emboss them using the Textured Impressions Embossing Folders 2PK - Butterfly Lattice Set.
Attach the lattice embossed piece at about the center of the page.
Cluster the embossed banners near the top right part of the page and tuck some below the lattice embossed piece.
Cut out the butterfly embossed piece into parts.
Emboss a strip of cream cardstock using a folder from Textured Impressions Embossing Folders 4PK - Moroccan Set.
Arrange the butterfly, scroll, and Moroccan vine pieces to create a frame for the photo.
Die cut flowers using Sizzlits Decorative Strip Die - Flower, Folded. Follow instructions on the package to create dimensional flowers. Attach near the photo spot.
Apply a thin coat of Collage Pauge over the elements to prepare them for coloring, but no so much to completely attach them down.
When dry, color the page by spraying with Glimmer Mists.
Tuck photo in place. Draw a frame around it.
Add details to some of the embossed pieces with pen. Journal.
Cut out letters using Sizzlits Decorative Strip Alphabet Die - Inside Out. Create title below the photo.
Machine stitch over the title and on the top banners to finish.
I hope you have fun embossing your Sizzix die cuts to jazz up your paper crafts!
