Hi everyone, it's Aida here today on the blog with some Sizzix inspiration. We all need cards for special occasions, I feel there's really no such thing as *too many* cards and handmade ones are wonderful to receive !
Above you see the card and tag I made. I love the cute images of the framelits die-cuts and they are the easiest to work with if you are short of time. The convenient combination of stamps and dies in a single pack cuts out time needed to rumage in your supplies trying to fit two separate products. Coloring the stamped images is easy by simply going over with Distress Inks, Gelatos or color markers, after which you can add some pop with Glitter Stickles.
These are the Sizzix products I used :
Powder Blue and Teal Big Shot
Magnetic Platform for Wafer Thin dies 656499
Hero Arts Stamp and Die-cut Framelits 657778
Framelits Die Set 7-pk with Stamps - Thank you, For you 6588355
Textured Impressions embossing folder Butterfly Lattice Set 659483
I inked the paper with Distress inks Squeezed Lemonade and Peacock Feathers, then stamped the images using Archival Jet Black. Next I used the framelits to cut out the shape together with the indespensible magnetic platform and you can see how clean the die-cut is !
The dots frame was stamped using Archival Rose Madder and then die cut with the square framelits in the same pack.
This close up shows you how the Textured Impression embossing folder gives a very clear embossed design. The stamp *Thank you very much* is in a square frame shape but I used only one side for the card.
And this is the tag. Using the stamp and framelits set, you can create any number of design variations which is a great add-value factor.
Thank you for joining me and I hope this easy project will get you making more cards today !
