Happy Thanksgiving, crafters! Today, we celebrate family, friends, good food and of course, amazing and awesome crafts. We know you probably have a lot on your plate today to get ready for all of the fun festivities, but if you get a chance to take a break, we invite you to join us on our round up of Thanksgiving crafts we've done here at Sizzix over the past few years- some of which we still use today!
We absolutely adore these Pocket Place Settings made by Audrey. Using Brenda Walton's Favorite Things, this elegant craft beautifully accents any Thanksgiving table, while perfectly capturing the beautiful colors of fall.
Pumpkin Perfection! These Pumpkin Ornaments are just hands down cute. Amanda created these with fabric scraps and her trusty Fabi. We love these little ornaments, not only in how they look, but how versatile they are for decorating. Did we mention how cute these are?!
This one is a throwback. But it's one we had to include because of how it was made. Debi created this Turkey Table Topper using the original eclips machine and Holiday cartridge. (And to think, now we have an eclips2 with bluetooth!) While neither the original eclips or Holiday cartridge are things we carry any longer, we still love using this project as inspiration for fun and whimsical table topper ideas.
For the Tim Holtz lovers, this Fall Leaves Decor is right up your alley. Perfect for the fall season and easily used as a table topper or general decoration in your home or porch, Leica beautifully captures the wonderful feel of the season- easily allowing this craft to be incorporated into Thanksgiving celebrations.
We love this Give Thanks Card Laura made using Tim Holtz's Pumpkin Parts die. It's simple and gorgeously captures the sentiments of today's celebration. This is one we've replicated on numerous occasions, not just for Thanksgiving, but for when we've needed a fall themed Thank You card.
Faith. Harvest. Love. Autumn. Such a gorgeous card! Debi created this lovely card in a matter of minutes, but the result looks like hours and hours of crafting. We love these type of cards that just need to be displayed year after year due to how beautifully they tie into the holiday season.
Leave it to Everyday Party Magazine to create this magnificent and modern Thanksgiving Tablescape. We loved this the second we saw it, it was unique, beautiful and so vastly different with the use of colors than we had seen before. Even better: the simplicity of it!
We can't lie. Whenever we see these Happy Thanksgiving Cards around the office, it's as if our stomachs collectively and in sync, grumble in unison for the food festivities that are quickly approaching. We love the simplicity of this card, with its rustically elegant embellishments- not to mention the nice use of burlap. Love this card!
Vintage sparkle. Rustic embellishments. These Monogrammed Fall Favors made by Shelly are fantastic. The quickness and ease which they can be made- you'd be able to make an entire tray while the turkey is roasting! (Oh turkey... we cannot wait to eat you...) From candy, to nuts, to little treats, these favors are a definite favorite for us.
We are still in love with this Thankful Panel today as much as we were when we first saw it. Aida absolutely made magic happen with this project. With the use of color combinations, to the embellisments and over all look, we can't help but feel thankful when we see this project.
From our Sizzix family to yours, we hope you have a truly amazing and wonderful day today. Thank you so much to each of you for all of the wonderful crafting, inspiration, and input you give to us, be it on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or even here on our blog. Happy Thanksgiving! What are you looking forward to today?
