The Sizzix Challenge Inspiration

I love everything about this photo, however my favorite part is the light shining through the light bulbs.  The image inspired me to create a similar effect with a glass light bulb party favor and coordinating gift tag.

For my gift tag, I used the Ovals #3 die, Damask Set Embossing Folders, Sizzlits Die Set Floral Botanical, Sizzlits Sheet Music Decorative Strip Die and the Sizzlits Decorative Strip Typeset Alphabet Die.

I started my project by embossing a piece of glitter card stock with the Damask embossing folder. I traced and hand cut it to fit a wooden tag and die cut a medium Oval, the flower stem and a music note out of coordinating glitter card stock and adhered them to the gift tag.  Lastly I die cut the letters LOVE from the Typset Decorative Strip die, placed it in the center of the oval then glued my paper tag to the wooden tag.  I filled the glass light bulb jar with candy and then attached the tag with twine.
