Sizzix Inspiration | Tinkerbell Invite by Genevieve Rulona

Tinkerbell Invite

Hey there everyone! Genevive here for a quick Tinkerbell Invite. My cousin Angie asked me to help her design a birthday invite for her adorable daughter's first birthday.  And when she told me her theme is Tinker Bell, I said  yes because I have this really dress form idea using the  Sizzix Sewing Room die by Tim Holtz and also used the Word Play alphabet die, also by Tim Holtz, for the card's title.

With Tinker Bell as the main theme, I wanted the card to be fun and trendy so I mixed it with papers with balloons and triangle patterns, and chose yellow and pink colors for contrast.

It's so timely that I have this green fabric leftovers from my son's halloween elf costumes. The green glitter foam was also a leftover from last Christmas. I just cut it to size, and glued it to the  dress form die-cut. To make the die-cut, the sandwich should be (from bottom to top): Sizzix standard Cutting Pad  + die + white cardstock + Cutting Pad. Roll the sandwich through the Big Shot machine and you'll get an instant paper dress form!

I also cut these letters to form the word "ONE" with the same method I mentioned above, using the Word Play die and used the Extended Cutting Pad instead of the standard one.  For a fun look, I mixed different fonts using stickers and thickers.

To complete the card, I just had to add some tiny details such as these sequins and dewdrops. Works all the time! :)
