Hello, Sizzix fans! Vivian Keh here today with a Sizzix Video Tutorial which I hope will help you look at your scraps as raw material for your next favorite project! While a lot of my solid paper pieces languish in that pile in the corner, I tend to keep nearly all my happy left over bits and strips from misted and mixed media projects right on my craft table, ready to be used when the mood strikes. Today's project was crafted entirely from scraps.
In my video, I introduce a great die from our new Marisa Pawelko line - theChained Sizzix Originals die, which has wonderful geometric patterns that really celebrate shape and repetition. These Originals dies pair well with the new Sizzix SophistiCutmachine which is super light-weight and perfect for toting to friend's house or to your local crop.
In the video, I share some tips on how to quickly and efficiently adhere these pretties, as well as an easy tip to help with composition.
A lot of satisfaction comes with knowing you crafted something pretty and unique out of scraps that had been headed for the trash.
I hope you enjoy my video and that you come away inspired to look at that pile of scraps with fresh eyes, ready to create!
