Hi all! Tami Mayberry from Create It Simply here with you today. Valentine's Day is almost here and maybe you are looking for a more masculine card to give that special someone. Today I have just that; and of course, it's another quick and easy project that can be created using Sizzix dies.
For this card I have used three Sizzix dies from the Tim Holtz line: Heartfelt, Torn Notebook and Celebration Words: Script. The first two dies were used with the Sizzix Big Shot Plus die-cutting machine and a sandwich of a Standard Cutting Pad, followed by the die (cutting side up), paper and the second Cutting Pad. The third die, the "Love" word shown, was also used with the Big Shot Plus but with a sandwich as shown on Adapter A (shown below).
To make this card, begin by forming a 4.25 x 5 .5-inch card from brown cardstock. Cut a 4.25 x 5.25-inch piece from light brown cardstock.
Using a piece of repositionable tape and the sandwich mentioned above, attach panel to Torn Notebook to left edge of panel; die-cut panel edge creating a torn pattern. Sand both panel and card front lightly; adhere panel to card front.
Die-cut desired Heartfelt heart shape from red glitter cardstock. Adhere to card front. Using the recommended sandwich for Thinlits dies mentioned above, die-cut the word "you" from black cardstock. Adhere to card front.
Wrap top edge of card with twine. Tie in a bow.
And there you have it!
