Hey everyone, it's Hilary here today with some Sizzix Inspiration. I'm sharing a fun card using the new Fabulous Script die by Marisa Pawelko, along with a few of my other favorites. I hope you enjoy!
I adore the 'fabulous' size of this new Fabulous die. It's the perfect sentiment for a card, and it just shines when cut using glittered paper...and the thing I absolutely love the most about it, are those little holes on the ends of the sentiment, that you can use with brads to secure it to your card. No need for messy glue, who doesn't love that???
I cut the center of the card out using a heart from the Framelits Hearts #2 set, which draws your eyes straight to the middle of the card and that fancy, fabulous sentiment.
One of my most favorite card dies, is the Ornate card #3. I just absolutely adore the scalloped edge across the bottom. It adds so much style with that eye catching border.
Then to embellish, I used the new Floressa die by Prima to create a fun big flower at the bottom.
To create the card, first die cut card base from white cardstock, and using the same Ornate card die, die cut 2 more pattern papers. Next, take your top pattern, and die cut a heart out of the center using the Framelits hearts. Then machine stitch all the layers together, making sure you leave a little margin at the scalloped bottom. Die cut Fabulous from glittered paper, and secure across the center of the heart using brads on each side. Next, stamp "you are" with alphabet stamps, and adhere a small corked heart above sentiment. Finally die cut papers and batting using Floressa die and attach all the layers using a brad. Wrap crochet trim underneath and secure with a vintage button and twine. Adhere to the corner of the card using a dab of hot glue. Wrap twine around the top of the card, and ric rac along the bottom, then finally adhere the card front to the white card stock using 3-D glue dots.
I hope I've inspired you to create a "Fabulous" card like this, your recipient will beam with delight!
Thank you so much for stopping by today, have a great week everyone!
